The Byron E. Morris Foundation was established in honor of Byron E. Morris, longtime Director of Admissions at The College of Wooster and respected advisor to the Phi Delta Sigma Fraternity. Throughout his life, Byron was dedicated to education, mentorship, and helping young people achieve their goals. The Foundation continues that legacy by providing scholarship opportunities for children and other relatives of members of the 5th Section.
As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the Foundation may accept tax-deductible donations, gifts, transfers, devises, and bequests.

What's New in 2026?
This year's Byron Morris Foundation Golf Outing introduces several exciting enhancements designed to improve the golfer experience while creating new opportunities to support our scholarship mission.
🎯 Memorial Hole-in-One Challenge
Honor a fallen brother by name and take your shot at a $10,000 cash prize. For a $20 donation, participants receive one attempt at a hole-in-one on Hole #8 while supporting scholarships and celebrating the legacy of brothers who have passed.
⛳ Reserve Your Tee Time
For the first time, golfers can reserve their preferred tee times in advance, making it easier to coordinate foursomes and plan your outing experience.
🚩 Simultaneous Front & Back Course Start
To improve pace of play and maximize the experience for all participants, this year's outing will feature a simultaneous start on both the front and back nine.
❤️ More Impact Than Ever
Every enhancement is designed with one goal in mind: generating more scholarship opportunities for children and relatives of fraternity members while strengthening the traditions that make this outing special.
